We have some great place to go to here in Tenerife and the Loro Park is just one. Home to over seven hundred parrots this is a magnificent tropical paradise. The parrot park has it all. Tigers,Lions.Pelicans,Gorillas,Chimps an amazing dolphn show and one of  the newest additions – the Orca whales also star in a wonderful performance. It really does not matter wether you are young or old this is the place to go.

The World cup came to Santa Cruz in Tenerife  recently and of course we at Los Gigantes Properties were  there to record the event! We also had visitors from the U.K. who came along for the ride and who were amazed that we didn’t just have to look at it in a glass cabinet but could actually touch it too. Lifting was not allowed but other than that the wait was more than worth it as we were allowed to take pictures with the security being very patient. Rafa was particularly thrilled that he was actually touching the same cup that so many famous others including Pelé had held in previous years.

Another great occasion for Tenerife and for so many who went over to Santa Cruz from beautiful Los Gigantes! These photos will be memories for a lifetime. Whilst in Tenerife he was caught at the Simply Red Concert 2010 Tenerife and happily posed for a photo with Rafa who is husband of our office manager  at Los Gigantes Properties Nicky Wragg.

An extra addition to our blog this week with Los Gigantes residents and tourists alike turning out in force to see Simply red at the Adeje Golf Course. It was a fantastic night for Tenerife and we had the added advantage of  El Mar services running a bus to take us there and back. Our office manager Nicky Wragg was yet again on hand with her camera to record the event!
