Paul Ruane has just spent a week with the ‘Old B’s ‘ club . This was a golfing week at the Abama hotel which was delayed earlier in the year due to the ‘ash cloud’ problems.  Paul Ruane and 27 others took to the golf course at the Abama for a few rounds and the guys also played on the golf course at Adeje . The ‘Old B’s club included a past and next years Wentworth captain. All were impressed with the golfing here on the Island. Paul reports the Adeje course is in fabulous condition and Tenerife is now one of the most popular new Winter golfing holiday destinations. The ‘working’ holiday incorporated a couple of great nights out at Azafran and the ‘Old B’s’ club are already planning a return venture. We have some great place to go to here in Tenerife and the Loro Park is just one. Home to over seven hundred parrots this is a magnificent tropical paradise. The parrot park has it all. Tigers,Lions.Pelicans,Gorillas,Chimps an amazing dolphn show and one of  the newest additions – the Orca whales also star in a wonderful performance. It really does not matter wether you are young or old this is the place to go.

The World cup came to Santa Cruz in Tenerife  recently and of course we at Los Gigantes Properties were  there to record the event! We also had visitors from the U.K. who came along for the ride and who were amazed that we didn’t just have to look at it in a glass cabinet but could actually touch it too. Lifting was not allowed but other than that the wait was more than worth it as we were allowed to take pictures with the security being very patient. Rafa was particularly thrilled that he was actually touching the same cup that so many famous others including Pelé had held in previous years.

Another great occasion for Tenerife and for so many who went over to Santa Cruz from beautiful Los Gigantes! These photos will be memories for a lifetime.
